Why are there limits?
- For security purposes it’s important to vet the types of files that customers are allowed to upload so that we don’t receive malicious files.
- To prevent misuse or abuse vectors, it's important to limit the total size of files.
- For performance reasons, it’s important to serve, save, import and export files quickly for customers.

Ouch! These article attachment limits are making it so images do not appear in many of our pages.

The custom page limit of 10 is ridiculous.

Is there any plan to up the maximum amount of articles a content block can be used in? It's currently 200. We'd like to use content blocks as variables for product names, specific UI references, and more that will likely be used well over 200 times. Thanks in advance.

It would be great if the maximum number of user segments could increase from 200. We heavily use this feature to manage our customers' permissions.

are these limitations per brand or for the entire subscription? e.g can I have 40,000 articles in each brand?

This is a limit for the entire account.

Is there a way to query or run a report on some of these limits to see how close we are to them? For example, images, is there a way for us to see how many images are currently in our library so we know where we are in relation to the limit?

Thanks for writing in! It looks like there is no reporting tool yet for us to track but we raised this to our guide product team for another look and see their response. Appreciate your feedback here!

Hi Ryan, we got an update from the Guide product team that there is no native way yet for users to have easily accessible reporting on the limits in the UI. Though they usually check it directly in the database… But this is a very good question and they usually see that the worry is mostly around images in the account. At the moment, we recommend submitting this as product feedback here and stay tuned for any announcement since our product team will check if they can surface this information somewhere directly in the product. We hope this information helps!
