About the system font stack

Is there a way to change the system font? Some of the information we save in the organization section contains the number one (1), a lower case L (l), or an upper case i (I). These can be hard to distinguish from each other.

When a user edits an article using a Mac, some styling code is added into the source code automatically. It doesn't display any change in the editor for either Windows or Mac users. But on the published article, it changes the formatting. The text displays correctly for Mac users. But for Windows, the formatting of the text is different. The only way to resolve it to edit every line of source code to remove the styling. How can we fix this please??
This is what is added... <span style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">
