Where can I change the account name in Support?

Answer

There are different names related to your account and brand that you can change in Zendesk:

  • Account and email notification name
  • Brand name
  • Help center name

Account and email notification name

Your account name appears in a browser's page tab next to your favicon, and the subject line of email notifications sent from your support address. To change the name, follow the instructions in Branding the Support interface.

To change a brand's name in your account:

  1. From Admin Center, go to Account > Brand management > Brands > click the brand you want to rename
  2. Click the Actions dropdown and select Manage settings
  3. Enter the Name under Basics and click the Save.

Note: If you have a account that is Chat-only, Sell-only, or Sell + Chat integration, you can't change the name of the account.
