Where can I change the account name in Support?

Answer

Amend the name that appears in Zendesk by using the steps below:

  • Account and email notification name
  • Brand name
  • Help center name

Account and email notification name

Your account name is populating in the page tab next to the favicon from your agent interface and, by default, in the subject line of the email notifications sent from your account. To change that name, follow the instructions in this article: Branding the agent interface.

If you have multiple brands, change the name of a brand from Admin Center > Brand management > Brands > Select the brand for which you want to change the name > Add a name under Brand name and select the Save changes button. If you have a help center, the name of your help center is configured separately, in addition to the steps on this page. See this article: Updating the help center name.

Note: If you have a Chat-only account, or a Sell-only, or a Sell + Chat account, you cannot change the name of the account.
