We are excited to announce that you can now easily bulk delete media (images and article attachments) in Guide media library.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What is changing and why?
With the release of Guide media library, our customers gained account-level visibility into all images and article attachments used in their knowledge base. For some customers, the increased visibility made them realize they had a lot of outdated and unused content they wanted to delete. However, prior to this release, the only way to delete media files and attachments was to do so one at a time. To resolve this issue and make it easier for our customers to delete unused media, we’ve now added an option to delete media in bulk from within the Guide media library.
How will this affect me?
You can now select up to 30 media files at one time (images and attachments) and choose an option to delete them together in bulk. You’ll always be able to review where the media selected for deletion is used in your knowledge base before you confirm your action.
You can only delete the images that you have uploaded. Guide admins can delete any image in the account.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to take any action. Bulk deletion in the Guide media library will be available for all plans. If you want to learn more about it see Working with images in the media library or Working with attachments in the media library.

hi team.
First of all, I'm glad I can do "bulk deleting" myself. But I don't need to use this. Because when I bulk delete, I usually want to delete media that is no longer being used in an article or content block.
However, I cannot tell which media is in use and which is not until I click on the media one by one. Therefore, even with bulk deletion, I still have no choice but to delete them one by one.
I wish the filters for media had a filter called "Unused Media". Until then I can't use bulk delete.
Hi 이지훈,
Thank you for your feedback, it's a really interesting idea. We'll see if we can make any improvement in this area.
