We are thrilled to announce an exciting new feature that will significantly improve Enterprise customers’ experience with macro suggestions. Previously, only admins had the ability to view and manage macro suggestions. But now, we're providing you with more flexibility and control over who can view macro suggestions.

What's changing?
For Enterprise customers who have access to custom roles, we are introducing a new permissions capability for macro suggestions. With this update, admins will now have the ability to assign permissions for macro suggestions within custom roles. This means that not only admins, but also other roles defined by the admin, can access macro suggestions in the Admin Center.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
We believe in empowering our users and providing them with the tools they need to work efficiently. This change is a direct response to feedback from our community, who wanted more flexibility in managing macro suggestions. By allowing admins to delegate access to macro suggestions, we are ensuring a more collaborative and efficient work environment.
What do I need to do?
If you have the Advanced AI add-on, you can start configuring access to macro suggestions right away. See Configuring access to macro suggestions (Enterprise only).
