Can I use Zendesk roles and group restrictions in Zendesk WFM?
Answer
Yes, admins can restrict access to Zendesk WFM so that only agents in the groups or roles you list can access it. This is designed to allow only a subset of agents such as admins or a specific Zendesk group to use the app. Many times during the initial installation of a new app, admins will enable it only for a selected group.
However, Zendesk WFM works best when all agents have access to the platform and thus, we recommend leaving role and group restrictions disabled. If Zendesk WFM isn't working for some agents, it's possible that the restrictions were enabled when the app was installed.
Note: Removing access for specific users by using role restrictions does not prevent agents from accessing the Zendesk WFM WebApp. This setting only controls whether the Zendesk WFM App is visible to an agent within Zendesk.
