We’re excited to announce that the generative AI features in knowledge (expand, tone shift, and simplify) are now available for our customers with the Advanced AI add-on.
This announcement answers the following questions:
What’s changing and why?
After a period of testing with our early access program (EAP) and receiving positive feedback from our customers, we’re now extending the writer assist generative AI capabilities to all customers subscribed to the Advanced AI add-on. The available features include:
- Expanding text to develop ideas further
- Adjusting the tone to be more formal
- Adjusting the tone to be friendlier
- Simplifying the writing for better understanding
The purpose of these changes is to support your writing process. With these tools, you'll be able to enhance your writing, turn brief bullet points into comprehensive content, and present your text in a way that's clear, succinct, and accessible to your readers.
How will this affect me?
The upcoming AI writing enhancements are designed to simplify your writing process. You'll find it easier to expand basic points into detailed content and to modify the tone of your writing to fit different scenarios, saving you time and improving the clarity of your work.
Additionally, the ability to simplify complex topics will prove invaluable, enabling you to convey intricate information in a way that's more digestible for your audience. The result is a streamlined writing experience that aids in producing clear, effective communication, whether for professional or casual contexts.
What do I need to do?
If you have the Advanced AI add-on, you can turn on the new features in Admin Center. If you have the Advanced AI add-on and were participating in the EAP for these features, you don’t need to do anything.
If you participated in our EAP but don’t have the Advanced AI add-on yet, you’ll be able to use the features for 90 more days before they are turned off for you. You won’t lose any of the changes made to content during the EAP.
