You may want to either export or import your intents - for example, to synchronize across bots, audit your existing content, or to easily translate your existing content for use with your multilingual bot. Luckily, we have a feature that can do just that.
Note - There is a 1:1 mapping rule, meaning that if you wish to use this feature to translate, you have to add a new language in the bot and duplicate your old replies first. You can learn how to do this in these two articles:
To export intents and download your content:
- Open your list of Intents from Dashboard > Contents > Intents
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner, and click Export
- Your intents will now be downloaded in an .xlsx file
To import intents:
- Open your list of Intents from Dashboard > Contents > Intents
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner, and click Import
- Select the .xlsx file that you have stored your intents in, making sure that you follow the standard format. To see the format, export your current content as described above for reference.
- Select the language of the intents that you are importing
- Click Import
- To see the newly imported intents, refresh the page first
