The Zendesk Sell for Shopify integration will be removed on April 14, 2025.

What's changing?
Due to a change in Shopify's platform policy, the Zendesk Sell for Shopify integration will be removed on April 14, 2025. As a result, this integration will no longer be available for use. However, Zendesk will still support Shopify through our standard Shopify integration.
Why is Zendesk removing Zendesk Sell for Shopify?
Due to Shopify's evolving platform requirements, certain integrations are no longer supported. As a result, Zendesk and the team responsible for the integration have decided to discontinue the Sell for Shopify integration. The app will be removed from Shopify on April 14 in compliance with these new requirements.
Shopify's sunset timeline:
- March 3: All merchants are notified that targeted apps will soon be sunset and uninstalled from shops.
- April 14: Shopify deactivates API access to these apps.
Am I affected?
If you currently use the Zendesk Sell integration with Shopify, you will be impacted by this removal. After April 14, the integration will no longer function, and you cannot access its features within your Shopify environment.
What do I need to do?
Please review your current workflows to determine how this change may impact your operations. If an alternative is needed, we recommend implementing one of the following options prior to April 14, 2025:
- Shopify by Zenplates: This integration serves as a strong alternative to the Shopify Sell integration.
- Build a custom app/integration: If you have specific needs, developing a custom solution may be beneficial.
Please rest assured that this change will not impact the Shopify for Zendesk Support integration, which will continue to be available for your use.
