Product Feedback - Explore: Numeric reports - blank data
Respondido
Publicado 19 de jul. de 2023
Hello,
We have noticed that whenever you browse a certain dashboard in Explore which usually displays a numeric value it just appears as blank:
Instead, what can be done in this case is to simply display a "0" or as it is currently in charts "No data available. Check your filters or calculations"
This would be much more presentable and appropriate when dashboards are being checked by stakeholders.
Thank you!

Dear customers,
thank you for your suggestion regarding the display of numeric values on the dashboard in Explore. We appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts with us.
After reviewing the request, we want to be transparent that this feature will not be part of our roadmap for next year. While we understand the importance of presenting data clearly, we have prioritized other initiatives for the upcoming period.
To maintain clarity on this topic, we will be closing the post for further comments as we now have full context. However, we may revisit this suggestion in the future.
Thank you again for your feedback!
Regards,
Walter

fronflower thank you for the advice.
I have tried to test this but unfortunately I am not able to locate such an option in chart configuration.
Also tried with multiple reports and visualization types, to no avail.
I see "Interpolate missing values" and "Do not replace missing values by zero" in very few reports, however not in a single KPI visualization report with a single metric as shown in my screenshot above.
Happy to hear if you have any further clarification about this.

+1 on this, especially on Data that is null.
Ive check some forums here, is there a way that we can add in null +0 to be able for it to be 0 and not in null?
This is extremely useful especially in graph bar where i need to see full 24 hour instead, even if it is 0 to be able to compare apple to apple.
Thank you

Hi there,
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I agree that displaying a blank value in Explore is not ideal, and it would be better to display a "0" or the message "No data available. Check your filters or calculations."
I've made a note to have this change implemented in the next release of Explore. In the meantime, you can use the following workaround:
This will ensure that blank values are displayed as "No data available. Check your filters or calculations" instead of as blank.
I'll let you know as soon as the change is implemented in the next release of Explore.
Thanks
