Zendesk is officially announcing the End of Life (EOL) for legacy Klaus surveys and the Zendesk QA conversations Insights view. On January 30, 2026, legacy Klaus surveys and conversations Insights will be deprecated.

What does this mean?

With Zendesk QA moving to the Zendesk platform, Klaus surveys will no longer be supported in the new environment starting January 30, 2026. This means this feature will be removed from all accounts on that date. Going forward, you can use Zendesk customer satisfaction ratings (CSAT) for your customer surveys. 

The conversations Insights view is also being deprecated on the same date.

Why is Zendesk removing Klaus surveys and conversations Insights?

Klaus surveys have been in limited availability since March 2024, and customers requesting access since that date have been informed that the feature will be discontinued. As part of our broader effort to simplify our product portfolio and focus on high-impact initiatives, we are now finalizing this deprecation.

We are deprecating the conversations Insights view due to its low adoption and because it does not align with our long-term analytics direction.

Am I affected?

If you're a Zendesk QA customer currently using Klaus surveys and the conversations Insights view, you will no longer be able to do so after January 30, 2026.

What do I need to do?

You don’t need to take any action. We will send direct email reminders to all impacted customers ahead of the deprecation date and provide guidance to help you plan for the transition.
