We’re excited to launch the new quick answers tab in the Zendesk Knowledge analytics dashboard, your new resource for monitoring how search delivers quick answers. This tab provides insights into search volume, the content of the answers served, and customer feedback, helping you optimize your knowledge base and improve support efficiency.

What is changing?
We've added a new quick answers dataset and quick answers tab to the prebuilt Zendesk Knowledge analytics dashboard. This tab monitors how search delivers quick answers, tracking key volume metrics such as total searches, generative (quick answers) searches, regular searches, and searches with no results. It also captures feedback from end users and agents, helping you understand content effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Why is Zendesk making this change?
You’ve told us you want more transparency into how search delivers quick answers and the effectiveness of those answers. The quick answers tab addresses this by offering clear metrics and actionable insights, enabling you to optimize search and boost ticket deflection through better self-service.
What do I need to do?
All Zendesk Knowledge customers will see the quick answers dashboard regardless of whether you've used the feature yet. If the feature is not enabled on your account, the tab might appear empty. No action is required to enable the tab. We recommend reviewing the tab regularly to monitor search performance and customer feedback, and to identify opportunities to improve content and search results.
Most customers will see the new dashboard on February 3rd. However, the rollout will continue until February 26th.
