You can add and remove email messages from Lead, Contact, and Deal cards, as well as from the Communications center, and you can also share email conversations with your team. Adding an email message from a Deal card
You may want to control whether or not an email thread is added from a lead or contact to your deal card.
To add an email thread to a Deal card
- In the Communication Center, click Inbox or Sent.
- Locate the message you want to add, you can use the Associated to Deal filter to refine the list of email messages.
- Click the deal link that is displayed next to the name of the email message.
- Select the check box of the associated deal or deals that you want to add the email to.
The selected email message is immediately added to the deal card.
Removing an email message from a Deal card
The email messages that you send to your leads and contacts can be removed from associated deal cards if needed.
To remove an email message from a Deal card
- On the deal card, click the Activity feed tab.
- Open the email message you want to remove.
- Click the More icon () to the right of the message, then click Remove from deal.
Removing an email message from a deal in the Communication Center
You can also remove email messages from a deal in the Inbox in the Communication Center.
To remove an email message from a deal in the Communication Center
- In the Communication Center, click Inbox or Sent.
- Locate the message you want to remove, you can use the Associated to Deal filter to refine the list of email messages.
- Click the deal link that is displayed next to the name of the email message.
- Deselect the checkbox of the associated deal or deals that you want to remove this email from.
The selected email message is immediately deleted from the deal card. However the message will remain on the Lead or Contact card.
Removing or archiving an email message from a Lead or Contact card
You can also archive an email message, remove an email message entirely from your Sell account, or archive and remove an email message from your Sell account.
To remove an email message from a Lead or Contact
- On the Lead or Contact page, select the email that you want to remove.
- Click the More icon (), Remove from Sell.
Note: It is the same procedure to archive or archive and remove the email message from a deal card: At step two choose Archive, or Archive and remove from Sell instead of Remove from Sell.
The email message is immediately deleted from the lead or contact card and any associated deals in your Sell account. There is no confirmation prompt, so be sure you really want to remove the message before proceeding. The message will not be deleted from your integrated account.
