Hello Yasir Q

It seems you can only delete these data via APIs individually:
- For community posts using DELETE /api/v2/community/posts/{post_id}
- For post comments using DELETE /api/v2/community/posts/{post_id}/comments/{post_comment_id}
Please notice: you'll need to make a DELETE request for each post/comment ID you want to remove.

Thanks

Hi,

I wanted to understand if there is a possibility of archiving community posts without deleting them.

Hi Balasubramanian,

Right now, there is no archiving option in Zendesk Gather or Community. What we recommend is to create a topic that is visible only to Agents and Managers and then move posts you do not want visible to the general public into that topic to sort of "archive" it.

While this is not yet available natively within Zendesk, what I can do is share your feedback with the Product Team. The best way for this feature request to get traction is for you to also provide product feedback so that other customers who want the same feature can upvote the post. The feature request and the votes would definitely be helpful so that the Product Managers would consider this in future roadmaps.

Thank you!

Any way to not allow the creation of new Topis or Post that are blank or with one word - or how to change what fields are Optional or not?

Are there restrictions for WHICH posts/comments a moderator can hide from moderation and create a ticket from? I have assumed in as one of our moderators who is an end-user (but is in the Moderator group) and I am experiencing mixed behaviors when I attempt to actually moderate. There are some post and comments that I can moderate, but then there are some where I cannot. I have not found any documentation saying that this is expected behavior. Please advise if there are any “gotchas” on why I wouldn't be able to moderate certain posts and comments.
