In Sell, you can set up and manage appointments and tasks for your leads, contacts, and deals. For example, when you add a new lead to your account, you might want to schedule a task for you to make your first contact with them. After you’ve made contact, you might need to create an appointment for your first phone meeting.
A calendar with appointments and task management is an integral part of Sell. You can create an appointment or task on the Leads, Contacts, or Deals cards, or directly on the Calendar () or Tasks () pages.
Your appointments and tasks are tracked along with all the other information you have about your leads, contacts, and deals.
See Creating and managing appointments for leads, contacts, and deals and Creating and managing tasks for leads, contacts, and deals.
If you’re already using Google calendar or Microsoft 365, you can integrate those appointments and tasks into the Sell calendar.
When you connect Sell with an external calendar, you can add and edit appointments both in Sell or in the external calendar as the calendars are kept in sync.
For more information about setting up Sell to work with Google and Microsoft 365 calendars, see Connecting your Google calendar with Sell and Connecting your Microsoft 365 calendar with Sell.
Note: You can also sync your Apple calendar events through Google and Microsoft 365.In addition to syncing your Google calendar, you can also sync your Google tasks and contacts. To show Sell tasks in Google calendar, you must activate the Google integration, specify the Google account with which to integrate, and select the option to sync Sell tasks with Google.
On the Professional and Enterprise plans Sell plans, you can also automatically generate tasks to automate your workflow. For example, you can assign new tasks to your team automatically when a deal moves from one pipeline stage to another. See Creating and using automated task actions.
