What's the best way to test changes to the email template before I send it to customers?

Answer

Email templates are live on your account. Your changes appear in email notifications right away. You can't test the email template before you save it. If your plan includes it, make and test changes in a sandbox environment.

After you update the email template, create a test ticket and send a notification to a personal email to review the changes. Adjust the template as needed.

Note: Customers on the Suite Growth plans and above can request a time-limited sandbox trial of Support, a higher Suite plan, or other add-ons. This trial does not affect your production instance while you explore features of Support or a higher-tier Suite plan. To submit a request, contact Zendesk Customer Support.
