Thank you Dane that worked perfectly! Looks like there could be some other handy customizations I can do with the Chat API. Thanks!

HI

I have a few dropdows that I would like preselected based on the users details, which we know. I have tried the prefill, but it does not work. Is it possible?

Im doing as above, and all other fields are being filled in, but not the dropdowns.

Hi Thanks

It works.

We're using Sendsafely in our contact form's "attachments" dropzone. It is correctly set up and working on the web form, but it's not reflected in the Zendesk Widget. Is there a way to replace the Zendesk Widget attachment dropzone with an initialized version of the Sendsafely one?

Hi Raúl,

I found an article from Sendsafely that suggests this might be possible. The article shows how to embed it in the Submit a Request form but the Web Widget (Classic) can be customized as well. You can disable the native attachment of the Widget and add the Sendsafely code. However, you may need to work with Sendsafely to implement this.

Hello institute of professional banking i took a look at your website and your widget does not look like a Zendesk widget. Are you using a 3rd party bot integrated to Zendesk?

Hello, I'd like to customize my widget for it to look like the one of Zendesk (see the screenshot). How can I reproduce it? Is it possible to do it with the web widget?

Hi Margaux!

That isn't a standard widget when I checked, it looks to be created using the Zendesk Help Center API here.

Hi, I want to customise the text of this "Get in Touch" button, but I don't seem to have any related configuration in the documentation, how to deal with this, looking forward to the reply, thank you very much!

Hello Aaron!

Unfortunately, the "Get in Touch" button is hard coded and there is no possibility at this time to change its text/look.
