Can I send customer satisfaction surveys in different languages?
Answer
The customer satisfaction survey is internationalized and the survey section translates to match the language in the requester's user profile. If the end-users language is a variant of a supported language, the content will default to English (US). To check the default language of your account, see this article: Configuring Zendesk Support for your locale and language.
You can customize the content of the email message beyond the rating section, for example, How would you rate the support you received?

Create the translations of the email text for the survey in each language you want to support and then use the dynamic content placeholder in the body of the Request customer satisfaction rating (system automation). The automation sends satisfaction ratings emails based on the user's language set in their user profile.
To customize the content of the satisfaction survey
- Create dynamic content with a variant in each language you support. Then, copy the generated placeholder
- In the survey, replace the text content with the dynamic content placeholder. That field will be dynamically populated
- Repeat these steps for all other fields in the survey
