If you set up federated search in your help center, you can configure your search settings to include external content sources in your help center search results.
In search results, each piece of external content is grouped under the relevant content source, which is the point of origin of the content (for example, blog, website, or learning management system). You can configure your search settings to specify which external content sources you want to include in your help center search results.
You must be a Guide admin to define the external content that you want to include in help center search
To include external content in your help center search results
- In Guide, click the Settings icon (
) in the sidebar, then click Search settings.
- Under Search sources, click Manage.
- Review the search sources that are currently selected to appear in your help center
search results, then click Manage search sources to add or remove sources
from this list.
- In the Manage search sources list, select the external source that you want
to include in the search results.
The name of each external source that you defined during federated search setup appears in the list, alongside external help centers and related communities (if you created help centers for multiple brands).
- Click Save.

When external search results are shown and clicked in Guide, do those links send the end user offsite? If so, is it possible to add a note that there link goes offsite?

That being said, I would recommend you add text in brackets with the name of the source, like (external website) to let the customer know.

I have followed the steps but I am not having any articles from the external blog I've linked to showing up in my results. Can you help?

Norm Van Eeden Petersman If you have multiple help centers, be aware that the help center that you include the content in, is the one identified in the brand selector in the top left corner:
To include content in another help center in the same account you need to switch the brand selector to the right help center. If that is not the issue, you should contact our support that can help you solve the issue.

Iam having problems getting the indexed results of my crawler. It is setup (partially finished) and I have arround 400 Records for this crawler in the search sources and I also activated it.
What else do I need to to? I changed the code within the search results template to use {{results}} instead of {{article_results}} but still no success. This page https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408832681626-Help-center-templating-cookbook#topic_tn4_sgw_frb does not help either since the code does not work it states that "'source_filters' does not exist" as well as "type_filters" what do I need to besides setting up the crawler, activate the sources and changing the code inside the template to get my external content shown in the search results?
When I query this endpoint https://knime.zendesk.com/api/v2/guide/search?filter[locales]=en-gb I do get the articles which have been crawled so they are there definelty
Any help would be highly appreciated

How does this work with Advanced AI and the chatbot? In other words, will Advanced AI reference external sites, if they are linked in this manner?
