Enable each department to be an available option within the pre-chat form.
To enable a department
- In the Chat dashboard, navigate to the Departments page.
- Select the department to edit.
- Under Department Status, select the checkbox field to Enable department.
- Select Save changes.
- Confirm the department is enabled with a checkmark in the column Enabled for Chat.
The enabled departments will appear as selections for your visitors within the department field.
