In this recipe, you'll learn how to create a report that shows the volume of tickets generated in each group, by the hour, in a set range of time.

- Zendesk Explore Professional or Enterprise
- Editor or admin permissions (see Giving users access to Explore)
Creating the report
- In Explore, click the reports () icon.
- In the Reports library, click New report.
- On the Select a dataset page, click Support > Support - Tickets dataset, then click Start report. The report builder opens.
- Under Metrics, add Tickets > Tickets.
- Select
D_COUNT
for the aggregator. - Under Columns, select Ticket > Ticket group.
- Under Rows, select Time - Ticket created > Ticket created - hour.
The resulting report should look like this:
You can edit the Ticket created - Date filter at the top of the report and change the time range to six months in the past, or any other time range you want to display. To exclude groups, select the Ticket group attribute under Columns, and choose which groups you want to appear.
