Zendesk is delighted to announce the general availability of deploying trigger configuration changes from a premium sandbox directly to your production instance. As a bonus, we're announcing a closed beta for deploying automations, too.
What's changing?
Previously, when admins wanted to test new triggers or updates to existing triggers in a sandbox, they had to recreate everything if they decided to use it in production. For most admins, this was done manually, and even using the Zendesk APIs for this task was difficult and prone to errors.
Now, Zendesk does the work of copying the details across for you. Based on your feedback from the Deploying Triggers Beta, we've also improved dependency mapping and resolution within the Admin Center. If we find any missing or duplicate dependencies, we walk you through the process of resolving them.

Why is Zendesk making this change?
We understand how important change management is for our customers. This new feature enhances the Sandbox experience by allowing you to safely test, implement, and manage the risks associated with changes to your production environment.
What do I need to do?
If you already have access to premium sandboxes, no action is required. If you don't, contact your sales representative or Zendesk Customer Support to upgrade your account or purchase premium sandboxes as an add-on.
