We’re excited to announce that Zendesk’s workforce management (WFM) solution, Tymeshift, is introducing an audit log. With the WFM audit log, admins can have a better understanding of the changes occurring in their account.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What is changing?
An audit log is being introduced to collect the most relevant events occurring in your WFM account. Like the Zendesk audit log, it records and provides details about changes, such as the time, feature area, item, user, type, and details related to a change. For example, you can view who triggered a change, which feature was affected, when the change occurred, and more.
Admins can access the audit log by clicking the admin () icon, then selecting Audit log in their WFM web app.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
We’re introducing the WFM audit log because certain configurations need to have a record of what’s changed. Updates to how you have things configured can be disruptive so understanding when changes occur can help you optimize how your organization runs WFM. The WFM audit log can also help you troubleshoot issues.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to do anything. To learn more, see Viewing the WFM audit log for changes.
