Effective September 23, 2024, Zendesk customers will have simpler IP firewall rules to manage.
What is changing?
Our Network team has been working steadily to merge Zendesk public IPs into a single address range that has been on our public list for several years. In the second half of July, more Zendesk services will be migrated to this IP range.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
By consolidating our IP addresses into a single range, we aim to simplify firewall management for our customers using integrations. This change will enhance network efficiency and streamline your firewall configurations.
What do I need to do?
To ensure continued seamless access to Zendesk services, especially for customers utilizing integrations, it's important to update your firewall configurations to accept Zendesk’s public IP range 216.198.0.0/18. Some Zendesk products will still require additional IP addresses; please review this help center article for more information.
