Zendesk Workforce Management (WFM) is enhancing the audit log functionality by adding the tracking of schedule editing events.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What is changing?
Zendesk is expanding the capabilities of the WFM audit log by including actions taken in the schedule. Schedule actions include shift editing, generation, publishing, time off creation, and more.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
When multiple people work in the same environment, there may be times when confusion occurs about how a change was made. The audit log can help you understand how changes were made, letting you optimize how your organization runs WFM and troubleshoot any related issues.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to take any specific action. All scheduling actions will produce a corresponding log entry automatically. To learn more, see Viewing the WFM audit log for changes.
