Adding an excluded term
You can add up to 300 words or phrases to the excluded term list to ensure that they are not translated during AI-generated translations.
To add a word or phrase to the excluded terms list
- In Admin Center, click
AI in the sidebar, then select Agent copilot > Translations.
- Under Exclude terms from translations, click Manage excluded
terms.
- On the Excluded terms page, click Add terms.
- In the Terms and phrases to exclude field, add the terms that you
want to exclude from translations, separated by commas. Note: Commas are treated as separators between different terms. If you want to exclude a longer phrase that contains commas, you must precede each comma within the phrase with a backslash (/). For example, to treat the phrase "apples, oranges, and bananas" as a single excluded phrase, you must enter it in the text field as "apples\, oranges\, and bananas".
- Click Save.
Editing an excluded term
If you need to update or change an excluded term, you can edit the excluded term directly from the excluded terms list.
- In Admin Center, click
AI in the sidebar, then select Agent copilot > Translations.
- Under Exclude terms from translations, click Manage excluded
terms.
- Select the option icon (
) for the term that you want to edit, then select Edit term.
- In the Edit term modal, enter your changes in the text field, then
click Save.
Deleting an excluded term
You can delete any excluded terms that you no longer want the AI-generated translation to ignore. Once you delete an excluded term, it will be translated along with the rest of your article content unless you add it to the excluded terms list again.
- In Admin Center, click
AI in the sidebar, then select Agent copilot > Translations.
- Under Exclude terms from translations, click Manage excluded
terms.
- Select the option icon (
) for the term that you want to delete, then select Delete.
- Click Delete.
