What is changing?
Zendesk Sell will be retired on August 31, 2027. While this means that we’ll no longer provide a sales CRM solution, we’re committed to ensuring Sell customers are well supported during this period.
Sell customers will continue to have full access to the product as usual until August 31, 2027. To help ensure a smooth transition to another solution, and to minimize your time needed to evaluate alternative sales CRM products, we’ve partnered with Pipedrive, a market-leading sales CRM solution with a well-established Zendesk integration. Pipedrive has created migration tools to make the transition smooth, accurate, and efficient.
Additionally, Pipedrive and Zendesk are committed to supporting customers throughout the transition process to help identify and implement the necessary configurations or customizations needed to maintain a comparable level of functionality on the Pipedrive platform.

We care deeply about customer and employee service, and this commitment drives everything we do, including how we prioritize investments.
As a part of this focus on service, we have made the decision to retire Zendesk Sell. While this means we’ll no longer offer a sales CRM, we are committed to supporting our current Sell customers through a smooth transition.
This change allows us to focus even more deeply on what we do best - helping businesses like yours deliver exceptional customer and employee service. By concentrating our efforts on service, we can move faster, innovate more boldly with AI, and build solutions that make a bigger impact for your teams and your customers.

What do I need to do?
During this time, Sell customers can take the following actions:

Explore Pipedrive or other sales CRM options.
- Start a free Pipedrive trial to explore Pipedrive.
- Contact the Pipedrive team directly to learn more about Pipedrive.
- Export your data from Sell. Admins or users with export permission can initiate data export in Settings > Data > Export and download the CSV file using a secure link sent by email. See Exporting data from Zendesk Sell.
- Contact Zendesk by reaching out to your Success Manager or Zendesk Customer Support with any questions.
What happens to my data?
How do I get my data?
You can export your data directly from Zendesk Sell in Settings > Data > Export. Admins or users with export permission can initiate the export and download the CSV file using a secure link sent by email. See Exporting data from Zendesk Sell.
What data is included in the export?
You can export data related to Leads, Contacts, Deals, Notes, Tasks, Smart lists, Full account data, and the Total Sales report. Data such as activity history, appointments, emails, call logs, and documents cannot be exported. Some system fields (such as Parent Company ID) are available only through smart list export.
How is user data transferred?
Exported data is delivered as a downloadable CSV file through a secure email link. All exports remain accessible from the Export panel for 30 days after creation.
What happens to my data if I don’t download it?
All Zendesk Sell data will be deleted per the Zendesk Service Data Deletion Policy, either when the Sell subscription ends or starting on August 31, 2027, whichever comes first. Once data deletion begins, it is permanent and cannot be reversed.
