What is changing?

The WFM Workday integration introduces the ability to import approved full-day time off data from Workday into WFM. Approved full-day time off from Workday automatically synchronizes to the WFM Schedule and Time Off Management pages and is listed under the Closed tab. Partial time off requests can also be imported into WFM, but appear under  the Pending tab and require the manual addition of a start time.

Why is Zendesk making this change?

Building integrations between Zendesk WFM and Workday is vital for enhancing operational efficiency within an organization. This integration is essential for streamlining administrative tasks and reducing errors in data entry. It optimizes efficiency and ensures seamless communication between workforce management and HR processes.

This integration also prioritizes Workday requests by deleting WFM duplicates and can eliminate the need for time off requests created in WFM.

What do I need to do?

You can sign up for the EAP here. If you're eligible to participate, we’ll notify you. To get started, see Understanding and setting up the Workday integration for WFM (EAP).
