Zendesk is pleased to announce that redaction suggestions, which is a feature included in the Advanced Data Privacy and Protection add-on, can now detect personally identifiable information (PII) in 20 additional languages.

Redaction suggestions will now support the following 20 new languages:
- Polish
- Vietnamese
- Dutch
- Romanian
- Slovak
- Japanese
- Arabic
- Turkish
- Bulgarian
- Hungarian
- Finnish
- Greek
- Czech
- Danish
- Swedish
- Norwegian
- Thai
- Indonesian
- Ukrainian
- Hindi
Note that the following languages are already supported:
- English
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- German
- Italian
- French
Why is Zendesk making this change?
We’ve heard your feedback and we’re making this change to improve our language support in redaction suggestions.
What do I need to do?
No action is required. The new language will be automatically considered for future PII detections.
