Zendesk is excited to announce that the configuration version management feature is now generally available.

What is changing?
Version management is Zendesk's new tool that makes it easy to deploy configuration changes between your environments. This includes the ability to:
- Inspect your setup at a glance and make smarter, safer changes to your configurations.
- Save snapshots of the best versions of configurations for your environments.
- Compare the configurations within snapshots to confidently identify changes.
- Deploy configuration changes from one environment to another (Suite Enterprise and above and Support Enterprise plans only)
Why is Zendesk making this change?
Zendesk recognizes that managing changes to your environments is a point of friction. That's why we invested in building this set of new features to provide a unified approach to inspecting, comparing, and deploying changes. Version management comes with support for all the main Zendesk configurations, including triggers, automations, custom objects, custom fields, and more. We intend to progressively add support for more configurations and features over time.
What do I need to do?
The inspect, snapshot, and compare functionality is being automatically rolled out to all Suite Growth plans and above and Support Professional plans and above. The deployment functionality is being automatically rolled out to Suite Enterprise plans and above and Support Enterprise plans. To begin using these features, see the following articles:
