New Tasks layout

Hi Karen, thanks for the feedback. I'm the Product Manager behind the task update. Have you tried selecting tasks that you wish to work on and clicking on "Play selected tasks"? This way you would be able work on them one by one without the need to open each in the new tab. 

Would this solve your current struggle?

I can't see the benefit of the Task Player? It just add extra clicks to every task. It takes more work to get through each task.

I'd prefer to return to the original layout.

I'm sorry but this new layout is annoying to deal with. You had a clean design, why fix what's not broken? Please tell me there's a way we can go back to the way the task page was before.

Hi @.... Thank you for your feedback, it informed task improvements that we released today. They are:

1. Ability to open tasks in new tab by right-clicking on the task name or secondary information below the task name.
2. Clicking on the secondary information below the task name does not open the task player. You can use this method if you want to avoid using task player. See how it works here. If you click on the task name (or the whole task row) the task player will still open, as a lot of Sell users adopted this feature since we released it. 
3. If there's only 1 task in task player, then closing it doesn't require additional confirmation. This is available for some accounts today and will be fully available tomorrow. 
4. Some minor styling changes were introduced, for example the secondary information colour was changed from black to grey to make the whole task page feel lighter.

Totally agree! No need for a task player - it's an annoying pop up on you screen and serves no purpose!!!!

The task list is so buggy. You click the contact and it just refreshes the page! 

The home page task list doesn't update anymore and is laggy. 

The whole update is painful to use and not user friendly at all! Life is so much more difficult now!!!

Hi @.... You can now open tasks without the task player by clicking on the secondary information underneath the task name. It works like this.

As to bugs you mentioned we were unable to reproduce them and received no reports from other users about the things you mention. Would you be open to schedule a 25 minutes Zoom call where you could show me what doesn't work for you?
