Hi Joanne,
I can think of 2 ways to do this.
The first way would be to have a typed list of all the email addresses you would like to add, separated by a comma. Then you can copy-and-paste that list into the CC field which will add the addresses at once as individual email addresses.
The second way would be to set up a macro that, when applied, updates the CC field with whatever email addresses you would like to add. Depending on how consistent the email address list is, the first option may be the easiest/quickest option.
I hope this helps!

how can i update the cc field in a macro

When building a macro, open the 'type or select actions' drop-down and select 'Add CC' and select the desired User from the list then repeat until all people have been added. If the desired person is not on that list, you may need to approach this differently.
If this doesn't answer your initial question, can you please elaborate a little on the type of people you would like to add as a CC? That might help find a more direct answer.
I hope this helps!

I dont have the option to 'Add CC' when i open the 'type or select actions' drop down menu. I would like to add a list of end users.

There might be a setting that needs to change. Can you go into: Support > Admin > Settings > Tickets and see if Enable CCs on tickets is enabled? That would be the first step. After that, the issue is that function from a macro can only add Agents automatically. There may be a way through Extensions but I haven't tested this yet. While I look into this, I'll see if anyone else knows a way to add multiple End Users in the CC field.

Add CC isn't an option in the macro actions

Do you not see "Add CC" in your list of actions?

Can you open the Admin Center and go into the Objects and Rules > Tickets > Settings to see if "Enable CCs on tickets" is enabled?

You're right. I hadn't updated the CC section of my side yet. Now that I have, I no longer see the 'Add CC' in my list of actions either. Let me see what I can find and get back to you.

Alright, so it's now called "Add Follower" but acts the same as "Add CC" did. Try using "Add Follower" to see if that will let you do what you need.

Hi Kyle B,
I am also on facing the same issue on Zendesk Macros.
"Add Follower" only allows me to add certain users - only the staff in my company are able to be added as followers, but my client users are not able to be added as followers.
I would think an 'Add CC' function is very useful for zendesk applications.
Is there another way to Add CC Email addresses?
