Article Verification date shown on articles

Planned

Posted Aug 12, 2020

When an article is verified I would like the verification date shown in the article details in Guide Admin.

Currently, we only see that the article is "verified" but no indication as to when it was verified.

I'd like to second the above and just comment that any indication / clarification on that date will help with the confusion that arises when you see the last updated date next to the article title but knowing that an update to article settings also influences the verification timer. Thanks!

I also think this is needed information so that knowledge owners know the last time it was verified.

I also think this would be useful, plus a record in the article history of who verified it.

Does anyone know if this enhancement request is on the radar for future updates?

As of 2023, are there any updates on this?

Yes, this is very necessary to prep for a recurring audit of published articles. I would like to see the following functionality added to ZD Guide:

  • Add the verified on date (and who did it) into the article editor view
  • Add the date next verification is due or expires (we set up different frequency rules for different types of articles, such as every 6 mo vs every year, etc.)
  • Add Verified and Unverified as events under the Article History
  • Provide instructions on how to build a report that allows us to pull the verified on date, unverified on date, date of next verification / verification expires on date, article ID, article title, and the user who performed the action

+1 for this & everything Christina mentioned. For auditing reasons we need to see when articles have been verified and who did it. Not sure why this is not captured at all in the history of guide?
