How many tickets with tag A also have tag B?

Answered

Posted May 09, 2023

Hi,

I want to know how many tickets with tag A also have tags B and C. For example I have tickets with the tag productfeedback and I want to know how many of the tickets with this tag also have the tags new_feature and optimization.

How do I do that? For everything I tried, Explore just shows me all of them combined in one circle diagram.

Hey Denise! By default, the Ticket tags attribute will filter to tickets that have any of the tags you selected on them. If you are wanting to report on tickets that contain each of the tags you are looking for on them, you'll need to create a custom attribute in Explore. For example, if you want to find only tickets that have both of the tags "united_states" and "italy" you can create a standard calculated attribute with the formula that is listed here, in our article Reporting with tags. You can add as many tags as you want to the formula then filter your Explore results using that attribute.

Hi Sabra,

Thank you for your answer. Is there a way to see all tags of tickets with a specific tag?

For example I want to see all tags of tickets which include the tag "united_states".

Hello Denise,

You can create a metric to show all the tickets which includes the united_states tag.

IF (INCLUDES_ANY([Ticket tags], "united_states")) THEN [Ticket ID] ENDIF

You can then add the attribute "Ticket tags" under "Rows" in the report so that you'll see all the other tags of the tickets where the tag "united_states" is also included.
