Automatically Route VIP customers to specific Group when using Chat

We want to automatically route VIP customers to specific group when they want to “Chat with Human”.  Is this something can do? 

 

We were able to do this with the Phone but I'm not sure if we can do the same with Chat.

Heya, you should be able to do the same with the messaging channel. 

 

Basically if the user who messages in has a VIP tag on their profile, that tag gets added to the ticket. Then you can setup some routing rules for it to be sent to a specific group of agents who deal with VIP user requests via messaging.
