How do I know which Guide theme I am on?

To check the templating version

  1. In Guide Admin, click the Customize design icon () in the sidebar.
  2. Click Customize on the theme you want to see.
  3. Under the theme name, you'll see the templating version number. Check out this article to know more
  4. In the EAP, for Lookup relationships to show up in the Help center, you need be on Templating API v4

How should I install the latest Theme version?

  1. In Guide Admin, click the Customize design icon () in the sidebar.
  2. If you are already on the theme version 4.1.0, you dont have to do anything. If not, you will have to Add a new theme or upgrade your existing theme to the latest version.
  3. Check if you have customized your current theme. When you modify a theme's code (for example, its templates, JavaScript, or CSS), the theme preview displays the </> icon, indicating that the theme's code has been modified and will no longer receive new features and updates.
  4. If you see a Zendesk icon beside your theme name like in the screenshot above, we have good news for you. We will automatically migrate your current theme to the latest version by October 4th.
  5. However, if you want do not wish to wait until then, all you need to do is click on Add Theme and click on Add Copenhagen theme to import the latest theme. The latest theme will be added to the Theme Library. Set this as a Live theme
  6. If you see a </> icon beside your theme name, this link will guide you through the process of migrating your current theme to the latest version.

Once you have moved to the latest theme, you are now eligible for the surfacing Lookup relationships pointing to custom objects in the Guide help center.

We are working towards making this feature backward compatible to all versions.
