Question
When building a report, I noticed that null values still show. How can I exclude blank values in my report?
Answer
To exclude blank values in your report follow these steps:
- In the report builder, click Result Manipulation (
).
- Select Metric filter.
- Select the checkbox under the metric you want to hide blank values from. Each metric in the report will have this option.
- Click Apply.
If you need to exclude zero values in which 0 is the value returned, and not blank, empty or null, see this article: How do I exclude zero values from my Explore report?

Hi
I'm also interested to find out how i can exclude some value from my querry.
In my case I created a querry to show the tickets in the backlog history per week and per year. For 2020 it's all good, but for 2021 for each futur week I have blank values wich are displayed. I can't find a way to not diplayed them.
You can find a screeshot of my querry.
To be more precise, I would like to see only the data from past week.
Any Help our advices will be apreciated !

Hello Pagot Alexandre. You can use the Configuration menu to do this. Go to Chart, and then click on the option to not replace missing content with a 0 value. Hope that helps!![](/hc/user_images/KXNEt6ZEtZT9nJbXYnpS4w.png)

When I try to filter out blank results using Metrics I get this message:

And nothing changes in my results.

Looks like we need to investigate further on this one. I'll be creating a private ticket on your behalf so that we can continue our conversation from there.

Hi, I'm having a similar issue as Ioannis above, my queries are returning values that are unlabeled and I'm unsure how to remove them. Attaching screenshots.![](/hc/user_images/LqeArVFjIT8cWzYqpOrTqg.png)

It looks like those are tickets with null values for the attribute/custom field. If you want to hide those from your chart, then you can filter the attribute Inquiry Type and Data Inquiry Type and exclude NULL.
