You can use content tags in your help center articles to group and display related content to end users (see About content tags). If the content tag you want does not exist, you can also create a new tag from within the article and then add it.
Note: Before you publish content tags, you must download the latest Copenhagen theme or update your custom theme to enable content tags. See Getting started with content tags.
To add content tags to articles
- In your help center or Guide, navigate to the article where you want to add content tags, then click Edit article in the top menu bar.
- (Guide Enterprise only) If you are on Guide Enterprise, click Article settings.This step is not necessary on Guide Professional.
- In Related to in the right sidebar, start typing the content tag you want to add, then select Add as new tag or select the matching content tag, if it exists.
You can add a maximum of 25 content tags, though best practice is to add between five and seven tags (see Best practices for using content tags).
- Add multiple content tags as needed.
- If you need to remove a content tag, click the X beside the content tag name.
- Click Save.
We have recently started using content tags on our articles, but we have encountered an issue. All of our articles are translated into four languages, however, we have noticed that it is not possible to translate content tags. This is a concern for us as it is a critical aspect of our work.
We would like to know if we are missing any information or if the feature to translate content tags is in the roadmap for future updates.

The "Related to" section do not appear when we search for the content tag
Hi, I have enabled the tag for endusers however do not see the 'related to' section when creating a new post. What am I missing?
I am also having the same problem. The content tag is not showing up on the article or in the "related articles" section
I followed the steps. How do I check if the tags are visible on the article when user searches for it.
Could there be a way to add the option under Article Settings button to bulk update/change "related to" content tags similar to being able to select to bulk update "change labels" when filtering under the manage articles view?
It could be the permission, only Guide admins and article authors can create content tags in articles. For more information, please refer to this article.

I am unable to see the Related To section in the right sidebar. On one article there was a Tags section, and I was able to add tags to that one. But on most of our articles there is no Tags section and no Related To section. Could this be a permissions issue?

My issue is that only 20 content tags show up in the Article settings drop-down. How are my Light Agents/Authors supposed to know what the other 80 tags are? I know that they can type at random in the add-a-tag box but that's hit-and-miss and frustrates even the most patient of us. Or they/we could go old school and make a paper list of the tags and pin that to our office wall - perhaps by taking a screenshot and printing that out - I'd have to check that a Light Agent can see all the tags at once. Maybe only admins (like me) can do this in which case am I supposed to make the screenshot and email it to everyone?
And, for signed-in users being able to see a list of tags would be an awesome way of browsing the site, no?
Am I missing something? Is there a 'print all tags' option hidden away somewhere and an 'email all the Light Agents at once' function? Do I make a Community Forum Post that lists all the tags for the users? How are you imagining this tagging thing might be streamlined and when will that happen?
In the case of a community post, the option "related to" will be visible on the edit window and not on the creation page. Once you have created the post, go to the settings on the right-hand side of the post and click edit. Then you will see this window, where the "related to" field is visible:
