Quick Look:
Admin Center > Workspaces > Agent tools > Views
You can export a view to a comma-separated values (CSV) file. The CSV file will contain an entry for each ticket and all its associated ticket information in the view.
Because of the processing involved in generating a CSV file, you can export a view only once every 10 minutes. You will receive an error message if there is less than 10 minutes between requests.
Community tip! Check out this suggestion for exporting views in our Community from Serge.
To export a view to a CSV file
- In Support, click the Views icon (
) in the sidebar, then select a view.
- Depending on the view, click Export CSV in the upper right, or click
Actions > Export as CSV.
If you don't see the export option, check to see if you have any filters applied and clear them. Views must be unfiltered to export them.
- Check your email. You'll receive an email notification containing a download link for your CSV file. The email is sent to your primary email account in your user profile.
Tip: Larger views might fail to export, even though
they display correctly in the Support console. If you don't receive an email with
the download link, consider modifying the view to return less
information or using the Views API to retrieve the information you
need.

Hello,
Is it possible to disable ticket view export option for agents? I checked the role permissions and it seems they shouldn't have access to it but this option remains available in Support. Is that a native feature?

Magda Wierzbicka I don't believe there is a permission tied to this (your screenshot is regarding Explore reports) but I agree that there should be as there is PII that we would not want Agents to have access to. If you make a feedback post, definitely link me to it!

+1 to what Jihoon Lee (이지훈) has stated - this is a huge liability as we have data that should not leave Zendesk and the fact that any Agent can do this, is a huge concern

Hello,
Is there a way to edit the way the data is exported in the CSV file?
In one of the reports, we get percentages and have to identify and format % in a long list of data. Is there a way to format or remove the % in the exported csv without altering the report?

Thanks for reaching out!
We do not have an option to edit the way data is exported in the CSV file. Although you do have an option to use a program like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to edit it after the Export. Importing and exporting values for ticket fields
Hope that helps!

We have PI and PII within ZenDesk. There needs to be a way to enable this for certain team members or admins only.
