Starting your day
When you begin working on a ticket, chat, or call, your day automatically starts and you're clocked in.
If your day starts with a general task, for example a meeting, then you can manually start your day in the Zendesk WFM app by clocking into the task. Clocking into a task helps your activity accurately track.
To manually start your day
- In Zendesk, click the Zendesk WFM app in the upper-right.
- Click Start Day or select a general task from the menu.
Ending your day
It's important that you end your day to prevent untracked time from being recorded at the end of your shift. Note that closing or logging out of Zendesk doesn't clock you out and end your day.
To end your day
- In Zendesk, click the Zendesk WFM app in the upper-right.
- Click End Day.
