Creating scheduled report exports

Scheduling report exports allows you and your team to receive your reports automatically.

To schedule report exports

  1. In Workforce management, click Reports in the navigation bar, then select Reports.
  2. Hover over the report template you want to schedule for export and click the options menu (), then select Schedule CSV export.

    Alternatively, click the report template you want to schedule for export and click the Scheduled exports icon () in the upper right corner, then click the plus icon ().

  3. Enter a unique Schedule name.
  4. In the Recipients field select one or more users who should receive the report.

  5. Configure the settings to send the report once or on a recurring schedule.

    To schedule the report export once, set the following:

    • Under Generate on, use the date picker to select a date.
    • Under At, select the time to generate the export.
    • Under With data from, select the date range to include data from.

    To schedule a recurring report, click the Recurrent schedule toggle to the on position, then set the following:
    • Under Repeat every, set the frequency for generating the export. For example, every two weeks.
    • Under On, select the day or days of the week, month, or year when you want to receive the generated report export.
    • Under At, select the time of day to send the export.
    • Under With data from previous, select the time frame for the data to include. For example, include data from one week before.

  6. Click Schedule CSV export.

    After you schedule a report export, your report templates show a scheduled icon () next to their names in the sidebar. Hover over the icon to see when the next report export is scheduled to generate.

Editing scheduled report exports

Admins and users with permission can edit scheduled report exports.

To edit a scheduled report export

  1. In Workforce management, click Reports in the navigation bar, then select Reports.
  2. Click the report template with a scheduled icon () next to its name that you want to edit.
  3. Under the Scheduled CSV exports sidebar on the right, click the options menu () next to the schedule name, then select Edit.

  4. Make your changes, then click Update.

Deleting scheduled report exports

Admins and users with permission can delete scheduled report exports. Deleting a scheduled export is permanent.

To delete a scheduled report export

  1. In Workforce management, click Reports in the navigation bar, then select Reports.
  2. Click the report template with a scheduled icon () next to its name that you want to delete.
  3. Under the Scheduled CSV exports sidebar on the right, click the options menu () next to the schedule name, then select Delete.
  4. Click Delete scheduled export to confirm the deletion.
