In the Dashboards library, you can see important information about existing dashboards. This information includes the dashboard’s name, last updated date, owner, views, schedules, link sharing, and restrictions. This information is available for all dashboards in the account, including those created with the classic dashboard builder and beta dashboard builder.

Viewing dashboard information and activity
The Dashboards library gives you an at-a-glance view of the dashboards in your account.
Admins can see all dashboards in the account. Editors can see only their own dashboards and dashboards that have been shared with them. Viewers can see only dashboards that have been shared with them.
To view dashboard information and activity
- In Explore, click the Dashboards icon ().
- Select the Shared with me, My dashboards, or All (available to admins only) tab.
- Review the following columns:
- Name: Name of the dashboard
- Last updated: Date the dashboard was last edited
- Owner: User who created the dashboard. Prebuilt dashboards are owned by Zendesk
- Views: (Available only for editors and admins) Number of views a dashboard has received in the last six months
- Schedules: (Available only for editors and admins) Number of schedules a dashboard is included in (Editors can see only their own schedules)
- Public link: (Available only for editors and admins) Whether any external links have been created for the dashboard (even if external linking is later turned off)
- Restrictions: Number of dashboard restrictions a dashboard has
- (Optional) Click any of the column headers to sort the dashboard results alphabetically, chronologically, or numerically, depending on the column.
Customizing the columns in the Dashboards library
You can customize which columns appear in the Dashboards library.
To customize the columns in the Dashboards library
- In Explore, click the Dashboards icon ().
- Select the Shared with me, My dashboards, or All (available to admins only) tab.
- Click the columns icon ().
- In the Show and hide columns list, select the columns you want to appear on the tab. Any changes you make to the column layout are shared across all tabs in the Dashboards library.
The next time you open the Dashboards library, your column selection is preserved. However, column settings are saved locally on your browser, meaning they aren't preserved if you open Explore in a different browser or in incognito mode, or if you clear your browser's cache and cookies.
