Zendesk is excited to announce improved performance when accessing Views.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What is changing?
To provide you with solid reliability and greater performance, we've completed a significant overhaul of how Views are served from Zendesk's backend system.
Additionally, if an agent has recently updated a ticket and then accesses the view in which the ticket appears, the ticket displays an animated icon () to the left of the ticket for up to 10 seconds. This icon indicates that the ticket update is processing. After the animation completes, the ticket may disappear from the view if it no longer matches the conditions for the view.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
We're making this update to bring faster load times for Views and ensure that Views continue to scale reliably.
This change also allows Zendesk to offer planned enhancements later this year, including displaying more views at a time, the ability to categorize views in folders, and additional filtering options. The goal of these enhancements is to give you the flexibility you need and allow you to find the right things faster.
What do I need to do?
You don't need to do anything. As this change rolls out over the coming months, you will notice improved Views performance, as well as the animated icon next to tickets you just updated. For more information about views, see Accessing views of your tickets.
