Generative search provides AI-generated answers to users' search queries in your help center based on your content. You can monitor generative search usage in your account and manage usage limits as needed. If you reach your usage limit, or expect that you will, you can purchase the Generative Search Extender add-on to perform additional searches.

Generative search usage limits

All Zendesk Suite and Guide plans include up to 100,000 eligible searches per month that produce generative search results. This includes search queries for supported languages that display generated answers on the search results page.

Monitoring generative search usage

You can monitor your usage summary to determine how close you are to your search usage limit.

To monitor your generative search usage
  1. In Admin Center, click Account in the sidebar, then select Usage > Summary.
  2. Refer to the Generative search box for the number of eligible search queries performed in your account this month, and the number remaining.

Increasing your usage limits

If you exceed 100,000 searches per month, you can buy the Generative Search Extender add-on to perform additional searches. Contact Zendesk Sales to purchase the add-on.

When you reach this limit, Zendesk Sales will contact you with information about the add-on.
