Integrating custom channel with Chat API
Hello,
We are trying to find ways to integrate multiple channels (Telegram Messenger, Facebook Messenger, Skype, etc) with Zendesk.
We tried Chat API (https://developer.zendesk.com/rest_api/docs/chat/chats) in order to create a new chat, but that only creates offline chat message.
Basically, We need an API that would allow to act as Web-widget (start new chat, send message to agents, receive messages), then integrate it with Chat Conversations API.
Is it possible?

Did you find a solutions? We have the same problem. Currently we use Blinger.io to integrate different communication channels but a perfect solution for us would be to use ZDChat only that supports integration with other messengers

No, It seems like there's no way to directly integrate Telegram / FB with Conversations API.
But it's possible through their Zendesk Support API. It has some limitions and may not fit your needs
