Creating an intake form
There doesn't seem to be a simple way to allow website visitors to submit a simple form with their name, email and a note? Is that correct?
I don't want the help chatbot in the lower right, and I don't want to have to send the user to the help section hosted off my site. (If I could embed the form that is in the help section right on my contact page, that would work too).
I just want site visitors to be able to fill in like three - five fields, be able to submit that, and it gets created as a new ticket for us to follow up on.
The Zendesk support agent was helpful but it seems the functionality doesn't exist out of the box, and in order for me to do this I'd have to be able to understand this documentation.
Do I really need to find and hire a developer to do something so simple?

Maybe some other helpful documentation links:
https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408846805530
For us, we have a way to submit tickets within our instance of Zendesk Guide. Though we had a 3rd party assist with the overall project and move to Zendesk, so they built out the actual form based on our requirements.

Hey Andres,
I understand what you are looking for here however yes it is true, the ability to do this out of the Zendesk box doesn't exist like you are looking for here today. Zendesk doesn't provide you the ability to be able to iframe a ticket form into your own website. The only options you have are what the agent provided you.
- Redirect the user to the form on the HC
- Use the web widget with the forms present for the user to submit from within the web widget (help widget)
- Use the API to link a form on your own website, to the same form inside Zendesk. This is the documentation link with the Zendesk support agent provided for you.
If you want a truly seamless experience, you would need to look at using the API which does require someone with developer knowledge to build out on your side.
- The very last option is - depending on your website, if you say use Gravity forms to build forms on your website, there is an integration available to link gravity forms to Zendesk the same way the API option does, but will no API coding required.
Hopefully, this helps. :)
Best,
Amie

Thanks Amie Brennan, I appreciate your input.
I belive I can set up gravity forms on the site. Do you know if the one-time basic plan will allow me to do this?
Is there documentation anywhere that can help me set it up?
Thanks again!

Heya,
You're most welcome. Head over to this link for some more info on the integration. You will need to purchase the plugin.
CRM Perks should also be able to provide you with some support on the plugin as well as more documentation.
Best,
Amie

I got this working! Thanks so much for your help Amie Brennan
For anyone else the Gravity Forms + CRM Perks integration is easy enough to set up. Better documentation would help, plus its pretty lame to have to purchase two more products just to be able to get basic functionality into Zendesk.

You're most welcome Andres. Really glad you were able to get it all working the way you would like it to. Happy ticketing from here. :)
