Vote counts by date in Zendesk Explore
Posted Feb 08, 2023
I would love to be able to use the vote count as a metric when I make changes to an article to see if they improve the results.
Currently, when running a Knowledge Base report it gives you an "Article votes" count, but that count is not affected by the dates I select in the report. Instead it's a tally of all-time votes. I would love to be able to look at the votes I received last month vs the votes I received this month to see if my users' opinions have changed.
I also find it a bit misleading that this is not clearly indicated in Explore. Since I'm selecting a date range, I would think that all of the data in the report is affected by that date range. If vote counts cannot be affected by date ranges, it would be clearer to keep them in a separate report that does not have a selectable date range.

Hi Jay Godek, yesterday we started releasing the knowledge base dataset improvements which contain upvotes and downvotes over time. You can read the announcement here, and you will see the update no later than February 25. I'm marking your post as "Completed".
Cheers!

Orsolya Forster - I came to this post looking for help sorting out what appears to be a continuing inconsistency or discrepancy in counting upvotes and downvotes via the OOB reporting since the Guide dataset update. Your assistance would be appreciated: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409155064090/comments/5891461669146
