It feels like the ability to see archived articles existed in a different permission set before. I have editors and publishers that I'm positive were able to see these before, but maybe I'm wrong?

 

Regardless, I need those folks to be able to access to archived articles without giving them full admin privileges to do so. That's too much power associated with the ability to review and restore archived articles.

+1 our client is looking to build a more comprehensive integration with ZD Help Centre and needs to manage the entire lifecycle, but have no good way to interact with archive or deleted events.

Would also support the ability to delete an archived article. Would it be possible to have a specific section_ID to represent the archival? Seems like that could be a streamlined way to manage along with the other existing articles

+1 for managing archived articles from the API.

In https://developer.zendesk.com/rest_api/docs/help_center/articles#list-articles I don't see any way of deleting or restoring archived articles...
