You can notify external targets when a ticket is created or updated. External targets are cloud-based applications and services (such as Twitter and Twilio) as well as HTTP and email. For more information, see Setting up a target.
Once you've set up targets, you can edit, delete, and deactivate and reactivate them.
Zendesk Support attempts to send notifications to an external target 21 times. If all attempts fail, the target is automatically deactivated and all Zendesk admins are notified. If a target is manually deleted or deactivated, admins will not be notified.
Note: Trial accounts are limited to a maximum of two targets.

There appears to be no way to remove an inactive target without activating it; and in this case, there's no way to activate this target.
How do I remove it?
Hey Wendell,
Since this target was created from the Slack integration, you would need to remove the Slack integration which will then remove any associated target.
Let me know if you run into any issues removing the integration.
Cheers!
I have a URL Target that works very nicely for me but there's one major annoying problem. Every time I go to edit the target, the form populates with old/stale data. If I want to make a change to any field on the form, I have to update all the fields. I've included 3 screenshots to hopefully make my issue clear.
Note that I've tried clearing browser cache, cookies, application data -- even using a completely different browser, but the problem persists.
Here, I have edited the URL target fields:
See that "Test Target" succeeds.
Next, I save the target and everything works fine. But I want to update a field in the target during as I test and develop. When I click "edit", the page populates with old data from perhaps the first time I tested this target.
Hey Bruce,
I don't believe this is expected behavior and could possibly be a bug. I see you've already created a ticket with our Customer Advocacy team regarding this issue. We will continue working with you on the ticket to troubleshoot further.
Cheers!
