To track at what stage you consider a lead to be in your sales process, you can add a status label to their lead card. Sell provides you with three status labels (New, Working, and Unqualified) to get started, but you can create other status labels to support your specific processes and workflows.

Editing and adding status labels
The default status labels can be edited in your Sell account settings by Admin users.
Admin users can also add new status labels as needed.
To edit or add status labels
- Click the Settings icon (), then select Customize > Leads.
- Select the Lead Statuses tab.
- Edit or add new statues as needed.
- Click Add.
Applying status labels
Statuses can be applied to leads in four ways: by applying a status on the lead’s card, by editing a lead’s profile, by selecting the lead from either the Index or Table views of the Leads page and then clicking the Update Status button, or as part of a bulk update to lead statuses (also done using the Index and Table views and the Update Status button).
Viewing leads by status label
After you’ve applied status labels, you can filter your view of the your leads using the lead status. Status is included as one of the panels in the leads Index view.
